教育类题目作为雅思考试的常规题型, 考生应该在备考阶段加以重视。那么,如何去理解题目和展开论证呢?

  首先: 必须弄清楚教育类题目的出题角度。常见的有儿童教育,家庭教育和学校教育。 文章结构大多以议论型文章为主。

  第二:总体思路: 儿童应该得到家长或老师的及时指引和监督。其中家长的作用是第一位的; 老师起着辅助的作用。对于儿童教育的方法来说,传统的方式起第一位作用,新方式起辅助作用。 最后,要想让儿童成全面发展,那么就必须让他们接受:社会,学习,心理和健康教育。

  第三:希望考生多背诵关于教育类文章的主题词。所谓主题词就是多记忆有效的固定搭配。这么做的直接好处就是在考试的时候提高写作的有效性。根据很多考生的考试反馈,他们往往都在考试的时候无法正确表达自己想要表达的内容。这其中的原因主要是因为平时没有集中背诵主题词。 具体关于教育主题词的内容,请见我的补充资料。 另外,要攻克主题句的5种写作方法,包括:模板句;定语从句和名词性从句; 状语和副词;插入语;状语从句。

  题目: school teachers used to be the source of information; however, some people argue that teachers are not as important as before as the increasing variety of information resources.

  what is your opinion?

  on the background of educational transformation, whether teachers or a variety of information resources are the information providers for students has turned out to be a frequent topic of discussion. under such circumstance, it is generally acknowledged that the role of those instructors gets the upper hand.

  firstly, there is no denying that the teachers play a dominant role in imparting knowledge to the students, which cannot be replaced. in other words, they are more professional and authoritative than other sources of information. what is more, those teachers can help their students explore their potentials and stimulate their interests in some related fields. for example, if a student is gifted in music, he will be motivated to perform better with his teacher’s help. by contrast, such information technology cannot play a minute role in this aspect. finally, the teachers can also inform their students of what is right and wrong, which will be beneficial to their future life and work. if not, those youngsters will easily go astray or even commit a crime later on.

  however, others are not in contradiction with the perspective that the function of those information resources cannot be ignored. in the first place, it is no doubt that the information technologies can bring considerable convenience to the students’ learning. specifically, they can enhance their efficiency in studies. for instance, they can search the latest information on the internet anytime and anywhere rather than only ask their teachers’ help in school. next, those technology-aided resources are more vivid so they are helpful for the teachers to improve teaching methods. the teachers can display their teaching contents by using slides or multi-media, with the consequence of better interchange in class.

  in terms of the statements identified above, i cannot oppose this opinion that the teachers make more contribution to the students’ school life, and meanwhile modern technologies can serve as a supportive part in this aspect. only in this way can the students benefit a lot.
